The partner surf camp of Element Called Water is located in the heart of Morroco’s surf mecca Taghazout. This little fisherman’s village offers with its high quality point breaks perfect waves through the winter months. You’ll be accomodated in a typical moroccan town house, all double rooms with European standard and a roof top terrace with a breathtaking view over the breaks and town.
location
The surf TheThe surf camp is in the heart of the surfer village Taghazout located, just 2-3 minutes walking distance to the center, the nearby restaurants and the surf of course. Ideally situated to discover the Moroccan culture on your own.
housing
From now on we proudly welcome you in the new surf house with its five comfy double bed rooms. The two huge terraces offer a spectacular view over the roofs of the little village Taghazout and the surf breaks. Besides the kitchen with bar, a dining room and two clean bathrooms (European standard) the cosy living rooms with its chill corner invites you to hang out, relax or watch a movie. It’s definitely no mass tourism at all.
Food
There will be served a daily breakfast to provide you with the needed power for the surf. On four evenings the crew prepares a delicious dinner. For the other meals we suggest to check out the local restaurants with its affordable authentic Moroccan meals just around the corner
entertainment
Besides surfing, surfing and surfing again, relax in the chill corner, watch a surf movie or enjoy the breathtaking sunset over the roofs of Taghazout on the camp’s spacious terraces! Don’t miss to visit one of the local markets so called Suk while you’re holidays in Morocco. There are a couple of other places to discover just for a day trip, for example Tiznit and Essaouira or Marrakesch, which can be booked at the camp.
surf equipment
Depending on your booked deal you can choose from the camp quiver, that offers everything from short board up to long boars or you bring your own surf board along. Of course we will provide you with a proper wetsuit as well.
surfing
Right on your door step some high quality right hander point breaks (hash point, panoramas) line up for you. A bit further north and south there are plenty more point breaks like Killer point, Anchor Point and some beach breaks too. Basically all you can ask for, no matter if you’re a bloody beginner or pro. We teamed up with a local surf school, that manages all the courses and make you surf through their leveled out surf instructions instantly. Thanks to the small surf class size of max 4 students and the video analyses you will celebrate your surf success quicker than you expected. The surf camp also does spot guiding tours to the nearby spots, so you are always at time at the right spot.
arrival
To travel to Morocco a valid passport is required at least for another 6 month. Please check all the visa restrictions for your country in advance. By plane is the cheapest and easiest way to travel to Morocco. Take a flight to Agadir Almassira. Several airlines offer a variation of flights to Morocco as for example Easyjet, Ryan Air, Hello Air, Edelweiss or Swiss.
The pick up at the airport is included by the surfcamp, just let us know your flight details early enough and everything else will be organized for you.
